1. Preparation: Comprehensive System Check
Before ignition, check that water level is within the normal range, pressure gauge reads zero, and safety valves are intact. Test all gas connections for leaks using foam solution. Verify water quality meets GB/T 1576 standards.
2. Ignition: Controlled Startup Process
Start the induced draft fan and purge the furnace for at least 5 minutes to remove residual gas. Ignite the pilot burner and confirm stable flame before slowly opening the main gas valve. Monitor flame color—bright blue indicates proper combustion.
3. Monitoring: Continuous Operation Control
Maintain water level within safe limits. Low water can cause severe damage, while high water affects steam quality. Ensure operating pressure does not exceed the rated value. Perform blowdown regularly (≤30 seconds per time) to prevent scale formation.
4. Shutdown: Standard and Emergency Procedures
For normal shutdown, reduce load gradually, close the gas valve, and allow pressure to drop below 0.1 MPa before stopping water feed. In emergencies, cut off gas supply immediately and implement rapid cooling measures. Always log shutdown details, including time, reason, and operator name.
